Tip of the Week
Where to Celebrate Earth Day
Like Valentine's Day, Mother's Day and my birthday, Earth Day really should be every day. And around the world on April 22nd, we're devoting time to terra-celebration with fairs, concerts, tree-planting events and eco-fashion shows. If your workplace doesn't observe Earth Day, don't fret. Festivities will be in full swing all week. On Sunday the 20th, eight free concerts will be held in eight major U.S. cities, featuring the Roots and Doug E. Fresh in Washington D.C., Ricky Scaggs in New York, and Taj Mahal in Los Angeles, to name a few. Check out www.greenapplemusicfestival.com for complete line-ups. To search for events by location, visit earthday.envirolink.org, and ww2.earthday.net to search by location and date.
