How We Made Our Decisions

The towels had to be made from an eco-friendly fiber, either organic cotton, bamboo or wood pulp, and processed without caustic solvents or chlorine-based bleaches. We also looked for products certified by independent third parties, such as Skal, Eko-Tex or the Global Organic Textile Standard.
