How We Made Our Decisions

The finishes are either natural finishes or water-based, low- or no-VOC chemical finishes that have been formulated to reduce air-polluting emissions. Some are both natural and low-VOC. Before you buy, read product specs or call the manufacturer to be certain you're choosing the right product for the job, as formulas differ in their durability, sheen and color.
