What you can do
Eat Sustainably: Eating fewer animal products, and choosing organic or verifiably grass-fed and local when you do, will protect you from mad cow disease and meat laced with antibiotics and hormones, as well as the higher risk of obesity, diabetes and cardiovascular disease connected with red meat.
