Rocamojo roasts its certified organic soybeans with organic coffee beans from Oaxaca, Mexico. Although not certified fair trade by the Fair Trade Federation, Rocamojo's coffee farmers all belong to Growers First, an organization that helps small family farmers in Latin America attain organic certification and establish roaster/farmer partnerships that will foster economic and community development. The company also makes a 100-percent soybean coffee that is caffeine- and acidity-free as well as certified organic ($8.99/lb.; www.rocamojo.com, 310-479-2151).

Well-Bean Coffee Co.'s soy/coffee blends are all certified organic, and the coffee beans are fair-trade certified by the Fair Trade Federation. The company produces four flavors of soy/coffee blends as well as a new coffee-free Yogi blend--soybeans roasted with chicory and green tea extract ($9.98/12-oz. bag; www.wellbeancoffee.com, 800-633-9850).
