At The Green Guide, we regularly invoke the power of the individual to make a real difference in the world through oftentimes very simple actions. Typically the tips and advice you'll get from The Green Guide and here on this web site will involve product choices and personal behaviors that better your health and the environment. But, more important than consumer power is the power you have as a citizen, a power that gets counted most directly when you vote.

So exercise your citizen power this year, and get others on board as well. Every vote counts, every vote makes a difference.

Here's what you can do:

Step One—Register to vote, or update your registration information using The Green Guide's designated Online Voter Registration page (or click on image below)

Step Two—Pass this message (with the necessary web link) along to others (18 or older) and urge them to register

Step Three—VOTE!

In true Green Guide style, we've made all of these actions as simple as possible by teaming up with Working Assets, the socially responsible company that hopes through this and other partnerships with non-partisan non-profit organizations to increase voter registration by 1,000,000. Just click on the image below to go to the Online Voter Registration web page Working Assets made especially for Green Guide readers. Encourage others to do the same. The Green Guide will receive a voter education grant from Working Assets when people use The Green Guide designated page to register to vote or update his/her registration. And you can be sure that100 percent of the Working Assets donations will go toward The Green Guide's consumer research and education program so we can continue to provide quality research and information on responsible products and behaviors for consumers. [Note: Neither The Green Guide nor Working Assets will share or sell your name and contact information for commercial purposes whatsoever].

See you at the voting booth!
